Dr. Udomsinrot was a design engineer at Gutierrez, Smouse,Wilmut & Associates, Inc. in Dallas, Texas before becoming a faculty member in the Environmental Engineering Division at the Asian Institute of Technology. His sanitary and environmental engineering expertise is in water and wastewater quality and treatment, treatment processes, plant design and operation, industrial pollution control, stream pollution analysis and management. Dr. Udomsinrot has published more than 20 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has also authored eight textbooks on environmental engineering.
